A daughter's Smile
A blessing from God... there is none greater
then to look into my daughter's smiling face and see my own reflection
within her adoring eyes
Such a smile i have never witnessed before
one so sincere and one so loving
Her soft baby coos like the gentle rustle
of autumn leaves to my ears
i look into her honest eyes and i feel joy
Oh, how i could never have imagined
before this day
this heart felt warmth she bestows upon me
for each of my life-long days
Yes, God has blessed Daddy's little girl
with an angel's smile
and
Daddy gives thanks to God
for the love from his baby daughter
