ebony n' ivory

ebony ´n ivory
a
Poem

You need not be a
Poet
For even a Common-man can see, how
Magnificent she stands
The Queen
Of the Orchestra

The elder strings, the angelic woodwinds
And the red-blooded brass
Bow to her elegance and sovereign voice

The drum-heads are struck
With vigor and glee

The beaten animal skins roar with praise
And
Rhythmic adoring of she

Her stature and mere presence dominates
The Royal Symphony

The Concert Hall
Becomes alive with the sound of her song
Filling the ears of all those fortunate
To obtain license to this musical court

Her place in history is decreed

Bach ... Mozart ... Beethoven
Her suitors who loved and courted her
And
These noble gentlemen wrote
To her
Poems of Love
Given to her 88 keys, taunt wire strings and pleasing melody

I am a Poet
I could go on-´n-on
About her enchanting charm

But

Elizabeth,

Ebony and Ivory
Cannot compete
With your
Eternal Beauty

Sincerely,

Your Poet

Who's Your Mommy

Who's Your Mommy

Hi
I don't have a name yet
But my mother is
Annie
She writes a blog on tumblr
klondikebar123

Hello boy
My Mommie, she
Named me, but she's keeping
It a surprise
Oh, her name is
Jess
Such a beautiful name and
She has a funny YouTube channel
Exoticjess

I think my mother hates me
When she discovered
I was born, she cried
Screaming, "Why, why!"

I heard her yell at
Her boyfriend, my father

I think together
They're planning
I die

Nonsense, how could that be
My Mommie
She was so happy but surprised
She told me
I was a gift from heaven
But my Daddie
Her boyfriend, made her cry

My mother said
School is more important than me
I heard my father say,

"Annie, I'll drive you to
Planned Parenthood
Tomorrow at three."

What is Planned Parenthood
And
It is God who decides
When I'm conceived

Jess's baby girl
Can you tell me

Mmmm...
Planned Parenthood
I heard my Mommie
Yell, "No."
But I was quite sleepy

Don't worry so much boy

This is the
United States of America

Home of the brave, land of the free

You think that they could
Murder us
In genocide clinics
Like it was Hitler's Nazi Germany

Besides,
The physician takes an oath
To preserve life

And we elected
The first African American President
I heard him speak
A sacred vow

I promise to protect, preserve and safeguard
Every Citizen's
God given unalienable right to life
From conception to natural death

Silly boy,
How bad can your worries be

Jess, your pregnancy is fine
Your baby in your womb
Is healthy and growing strong

I'll see you next month
Call me if you spot or bleed

I have the greatest respect for
You teenage Mothers
Who trust in Jesus
Give birth to your child

Prochoice AmeriKa
What an evil thing

Jess If You Really Loved Them

Jess
If you really loved them
Your Gay male friends

You'd lead prayer meetings
With them
Reciting the Divine Mercy Chaplet
Repenting for their
Grave sin of the flesh

You ask our eternal
Father
In the Name of Jesus the Christ
To lead them from
Their decadent self-destructive
life-style

And

To know the love of
Jesus Christ
Through
The immaculate heart of Mary
And
The Holy Mother Church

Beseech the Holy Spirit
To descend upon each of these
Lost n' confused souls

Heal them of their
Homoerotic perversion
And
Their sexual abuse they suffered
As a young boy

The Rosary Jess, the Rosary
Pray upon bended knee
With our
Blessed Virgin Mother Mary
Receive all her sanctifying graces
With each five decades
Prayed

It won't be easy
But you must try

God has already prepared you

Draw upon the Mother inside

Jess
If you really love them
Your Gay male friends

You must warn them
Their souls are in immanent peril
Of damnation into the
Everlasting fires of
HELL

Your Homoerotic male friends

Must understand
The sin of their way

Jess
Tell them the teachings of
The Church

Homoerotic acts
Are
Acts of grave depravity
And
Are intrinsically disordered

Homoerotic acts
Are an abomination of and
Contrary to the Natural Law
Commanded by
Our Creator, Almighty God, our Father

Gay males are called to
Chastity

By the virtues of self-mastery
These men learn

Inner freedom from sin
By the support of your friendship
Jess
By your prayers and sacramental grace
From the Church

Your Gay male friends
Shall gradually and resolutely approach
Christian perfection

Pleasing to God

You'd do this for them
If you really loved them
Your Gay male friends
Jess

Virtual Gerl

Jess
You are a Virtual Gerl
I know this to be true

Yet, none of this matters
My Heart is in control
And I must give it to you

What I've grown
To love about you
Maybe it isn't true

My Heart insists
It knows you well

And

My mind is beaten into submission
The Heart triumphs
It won't let you go

Never shall we meet
Or
Greet, "Hello."

But a Poet cannot be faulted
When is prose is inspired

By his
Virtual Gerl
Who comforts his broken soul

Why Jess, you need only smile

jess why?

Jess Why?

Jess

Why were you and i created

To walk upon this earth

And

Where do we go when we die?

What do you fear most?

Will you ever find a man

Who is worthy of your trust and love?

Are you truly seeking to be

The best Mother you can?

Jesus Christ, what does He mean to you?

Why must i write poems to you

Or

Shall i lie down n' wait to die?

When you are alone

In your darkened room

The black-ink night outside is

Illuminated by dim street lamps

The moon is in hiding

The stars are choked by pollution haze

Your residence is empty

All your doors are locked

And

Your living room is dark, so dark

Only the noise of the

Los Angeles city streets

Pierce your ears with sound

The deep throat roar

Of a distant jet plan

The rhythmic thump-thump

Of a police helicopter flying over head

Criss-crossing your neighborhood

The loud growl of a Harley Hawg

Racing past on your street

The crack-crack of gunfire

In your back-yard

Yelling and shouting

Then it's gone

And

The screeching whine

Of a police cruiser siren

You hear the

Distant low pitch, Loud High Screech

Fades and vanishes

Law Enforcement drive past

And

Do  not stop in front of your home

Hear the human like cry of an alley cat

You hear your own breathing

You feel your heartbeat

Do you ever ponder my questions proposed?

Do you even care to bother?

Am i your Poet?

Bb, gerl

Please let your Poet know

muse

Muse

Jess
How important to me
Do you think that you are

My darling Muse
I am a Poet
Without you, I could not go far

A Poet's life
Must be scorched earth
His mouth parched and dry
Within his chest
A heart torn, bleeding and about to die

Yet
With prose that he pens
Each poem to his
Muse
In that he reaffirms
His love for mankind

Count also the bottles
Of black ink consumed
The Poet
He is temporarily renewed
And
He lives for just one more review

my gerl jess

My Gerl Jess

Go west to the vast prairies
On the Fourth of July
Get out of your car and
Walk slowly through
The green grasses and
Abandoned pastures
Where wild alfalfa grows

Listen
You are sure to hear a song
The Western Meadowlark sings
A beautiful whistled tune
Like an angelic flute
Short n' sweet to the ear

You can hear it quite clear
The bird will be near
Look for a fence post
Or the tops of a branch bush
That's where it proudly perch

Dressed with bright yellow breast
See a black 'V' band under its neck

Its flanks under the wings white
Its head, body n' tail feathers
Pale washed-out brown, with speckles of black

A long thin pointed bill
Its eyes like two bright crystals
Staring at you

God in His heavenly gift
Has created a voice
More melodious than
These flighted creatures be

My gerl Jess
Yes, my exotic jess

I hear the most beautiful voice
When she talks to me

Drive north into
The State of Maine
Stop at a place
Sebago Lake

The wild growing plants
See the bite-sized
Indigo berries with velvety skin
Varieties to hand-pick
All summer long

Eat them fresh off
The high-bush
Smell the aroma of heaven
Taste the delicacy of paradise

Go ahead
Fill your tummy
You'll feel just nice

God in His divine blessing
Has created a savor
More satisfying than
These blueberries be

My gerl Jess
Yes, my exotic jess

Her lips, when I kiss
Electrify me

Take to a seaworthy ship
Her masts straight n' true
Sails billowing firm
Like a young maiden's breasts

Follow the Trade Winds
Sail west towards
The Mariana Archipelago

Land upon the
Island of Guam
Landmark its furthest north-west
Ritidian Point Beach

Depart your ship
In deep waters
Securely anchored off-shore

Launch your jolly-boat
Seaman watch her bow
Row through the foaming breakers
The rip-currents are strong

The beach is
A gentle slope
The white sand finely ground

I'm amazed at
The lush green vegetation
Growing so near
The water's edge
So thick and luxurious
But that's not why I've come

Look west boy, look west
And wait for the magical time

You'll see God's majesty
In the clear blue sky
It's a golden yellow ball of flame
It burns my eyes

Watch the fiery globe slowly drop
Into the ocean vast

The deep blue hue
Of the distant horizon sea

Contrasts with the
Turquoise green of
The near shore

Divine waters glimmer
And is pleasing to our Creator

It all looks surreal
Like I could reach out
And touch

The large ignited ball
Fills the sky and nothing else
He has blown away all clouds

The sky, the sea
Merge into a blurred
Brilliant red-yellow hue

A ball aflame submerges itself
Sinking into the waves

The earth becomes flaming red orange hues
As far as my eyes can see

All of my fears
Of fire vanish
The salt-water
Is a calm grayish ink

Darkness surrounds me

God in His perfect love
Has created a woman
More breath-taking
Than any sunset could be

My gerl Jess
Yes, my exotic jess

No gentleman's heart
Upon earth could be
More enlightened of warmth
Fondness and awe

Than I am with
My gerl, Jessie
